Eph 5:1,2
1 Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. 2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us[a] and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
1 Corinthians
We are who we are today because of the Struggles we have gone through in our lifetime up to this point. Those Struggles also Helped us to come to the FATHER and to say OH LORD I NEED YOU.
God's Desire is to take us to a place where he can use us to be a part of HIS blessing 1 Corinthians 13:11-12
11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.[a] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
God wants us to grow in Spiritual maturity everyday HE does not want us to remain the same for then nothing will happen and HE can not use us for HIS glory. Every Christian whether you are a day old Christian or 10 yr old Christian and so on and so forth continues to grow spiritually in maturity for we must continue to grow in Spiritual maturity to do what GOD has created us to do.
We must remember these things
1. Where We Came from
1 Corinthians 1:2-6
2. Who we are now.
1 Peter 1:2
3. Keep our eye on the prize
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
4. Remember the Journey is never ending it must be ongoing.
1.Learn from your past
2.Live in The Present
3. Look to the Future.
Always look at your Faith everyday ask yourself what is your spiritual life like right now and ask this every single day without fail. This question will tell you where you are and what you have to work towards.
Watch your thoughts they become your words
Watch your words they become your actions
Watch your actions they become your habits
Watch your Habits they become your character
Watch your Character for it becomes your Destiny.
We need to measure Spiritually where we are in Christ. Everyday. No one can judge the heart of others but for Jesus but we can judge the fruit but only our own fruit not that of someone elses. (How healthy is it?)
We need the fruit of the spirit we can make it look good even when it is not. Many People Many Christians come to church and when asked how they are they say I am fine and put on a happy face when truly inside they are not fine is just a word people use to cover up true emotions.
We don't want to burden others with reality sometimes so we say we are fine but we must talk to someone as this is not how it should be you Need to be real with others. Talk to someone so we can heal and bear healthy fruit and remain barren.
Remember They will know that we are Christians by our love.
And we are called to help bare the burden of our fellow sisters and Brothers in the Lord to make the load easier Sometimes God's arms and God's comfort come from fellow Believers.
Phil 2 says we are Called to be like Jesus.
We should try to encourage ourselves everyday as well.
Speak the word out loud then your whole body hears to build ourselves up in the Lord. Sometimes when you read the word out loud it will challange you and convict you of something within your soul and mind.
Remember to Encourage yourself
it may seem silly but say this
Sometimes I am not where I should be I am not perfect I am human. It's ok to not be perfect and it's ok to make mistakes.
Praise God I'm not where I used to be
And By GOD ALMIGHTY I will not stay where I am for GOD has plans for me.
Don't just go through the motions of Church live it in your everyday life.
The Challange this week is to continue to question yourself everyday of where you are spiritually right now..
